Ross County Local Food Directory
Are you a Ross County Food Producer? Do you sell fruits, vegetables, meat/poultry/eggs, processed foods, and any other items we want you!
Ohio State University Extension Ross County, together with local sponsorship, is working on creating a directory of local food producers in Ross County. The goal of this project is to increase local awareness of foods produced in the county as well as increase the economic activity for our local producers. A printed copy distribution during Local Foods Week, August 9th-15th, which coincides with the Ross County Fair. An on-line directory of these local producers will also be accessible to local residents through the OSU Extension website as well as our sponsor partners. This web based directory will allow people to click on a webpage or social media sites to easier connect with products from Ross County. Again, this will be a Local Food Directory for Ross County only.
An online survey has been created at http://go.osu.edu/rosslocalfoods were producers can provide their pertinent information needed for the directory. If you would like us to send you paper forms to complete due to lack of internet access, please call the Ross County Extension Office at 740-702-3200.
If you have any questions or issues completing the form or questions about this local foods project, please contact Sarah Chain at chain.10@osu.edu, Chris Bruynis at bruynis.1@osu.edu or call the OSU Ross County Extension office at 740-702-3200. OSU Extension, Ross County looks forward to connecting local food producers and local consumers!
