Ohio Township Association   4-H Local Government Award

To encourage and inspire 4-H teens to become responsible citizens who are involved in local government.  Award is designed to reinforce the importance of having youth become contributing citizens in their communities.

Complete ‘Ohio 4-H Achievement Record’

 

Must be seniors; have completed a
4-H local government activity; and plan to attend college

Due: January 15
to Ross Co. office

 

Winners notified after March 20

  1. Must be at least 19 years as of January 1, current year
  2. Must be a former Ross County 4-H member
  3. A full-time (12 hours +) sophomore, junior, or senior status at any accredited college, university, or technical school.

Ross County Carteens Scholarship pdf version

1.  Participant in leading Carteens programming for at least one year.

2.  Attained the academic rank of high school "senior"

3.  Minimum GPA of   2.5

4.  Current Ross County 4-H member

5.  Attending any post-secondary college/university next year

6.  Complete application and turn in hard copy to Extension office by January 15, 2018

Ohio 4-H Scholarships

Scholarship funds currently exist for Ohio 4-H members – majority for graduates attending OSU, but several exist for members attending any accredited postâ€Âsecondary institution

 

Scholarship amounts and requirements vary, but application focus is on 4â€ÂH participation and leadership

Application is ONLY available online

 

Note: no matter which college you plan to attend, your application for state-level scholarships must be completed on-line!
